• Mindy filer

    Mindy has been a part of New Life since 2016. She likes that New Life is one big family where she can go from having a conversation with a four year old to having a conversation with an eighty-four year old. Mindy serves as the church treasurer and as a youth leader.


    Mindy and her husband Andy have a young daughter. She works as a retirement plan advisor. She enjoys travelling, caving, climbing, hiking, kayaking, crafting, and getting the youth to do things they never thought they would.

  • sherri Kanode

    Sherri has been a part of New Life since 1986 when the church first began. She appreciates the church's close, family-like atmosphere. Sherri serves as our Elementary Sunday School coordinator. 


    Sherri and her husband Kevin have three adult children (all married) and four grandchildren. She works as a church secretary at another church. She enjoys reading, gardening, art and painting, and playing with her grandchildren.

  • Doug shenk

    Doug has been a part of New Life since 2011. He appreciates the family atmosphere and the biblical teaching. Doug serves as the audio/visual team leader and plays guitar on the worship team.


    Doug and his wife Elaine have four grown children and two grandchildren. He works as a high school mathematics instructor. He enjoys guitar, photography, the outdoors, and soccer.


  • DEL OLSON

    Del has been part of New Life since the fall of 2019, right before the pandemic.  From our first visit, everyone was welcoming and made us feel at home.  Del serves on the audio-visual team, assists with maintenance, and helps out where ever he is needed.


    Del and his wife Linda have three adult children (all married) and four grandchildren.  He is semi-retired and works part-time, as well as volunteers within the community.  Del enjoys traveling, going to the beach, and spending time with family.

  • Valerie powers

    Valerie has been a part of New Life since 2019. She loves worshipping on Sunday mornings and our community events where we get to know each other. The people are friendly and welcoming. Valerie serves when she can by helping prepare meals for Wednesday night study and fills in as a preschool teacher at times. 


    Valerie and her husband, Grant, work together as houseparents at Milton Hershey School. They have two daughters and an energetic Boston terrier. Valerie enjoys going on walks with friends, reading books, playing sudoku, and gardening in her spare time.
