Global Missions

At New Life Church of Hershey, we seek to make an impact globally. This takes place as we maintain global relationships, provide financial support, and even take trips to serve alongside our global partners.

  • Zambia, africa

Since the 1990s, we have enjoyed a long-standing relationship with Rachel and Lazarus Phiri who currently serve at Evangelical University in Ndola, Zambia, Africa. A team from New Life first visited the Phiris in Zambia in 2010.

  • Partners for life advancement and education promotion (PLAEP)

Through the Phiris, we developed an ongoing partnership with PLAEP, a Christian community-based development organization in Kitwe, Zambia, Africa, led by Prisca Kambole. In 2013 and 2016 we again sent teams to Zambia to connect with our ministry partners and provide practical assistance through such things as teacher training and children's programs.

  • Sanika Designs

Most recently, in 2017 we helped to send Greta Ledyard to serve long-term with PLAEP, where she is working as PLAEP's Artisan Projects Coordinator to develop Sanika Designs, an artisan enterprise that trains, equips, and provides income-generating opportunities for women.

  • Brethren in Christ World Misisons

In addition to our major involvement in Zambia, we also support missionaries throughout the world through our support of Brethren in Christ World Missions
